The World Wide Panorama event of the second quarter of 2016 is a collection of panoramas with the common theme of “Unique”.

Theme Essay: Unique

The essay conveys the team’s idea of the event. It is usually published together with the Theme announcement and offers a starting point for the contributing photographers.

“Unique. It’s the condition of being unlike anything else. It can be good, bad or anything inbetween, but it’s always a one-off. Being less pedantic, it could mean unusual, rare or different – something that’s memorable, unexpected or simply unlike what surrounds it, a place that’s unlike its equivalent elsewhere in the world.
This could be about capturing a moment that will never return. Perhaps it is a landmark social event or a point of political upheaval? Maybe it is simply one small point of difference in a sea of similarity … What does ‘unique’ say to you?”
