This panorama is part of a series of 20 taken of the church sanctuary over a 15month period starting before the COVID pandemic and finishing during the pandemic. The images were taken from exactly the same position at every shoot, not easy as the floor was removed, and the building extensively refurbished during the work.

At the front of the sanctuary the audiovisual screen is being raised into position, the last stage of its journey.

The screen is transparent when not in use and opaque when in use. This minimises the impact of the screen on the architecture of the building.

The screen is very large and very fragile, this is the last stage of a long journey, and it took some time to complete.

Equipment

Sony A7 Mk2, Prime F2 28mm Nodal Ninja 3ii
