For more than thirty years I have been working now in the printing trade and all these years, due to the tremendous changes in this field, the jobs passed through the printinghouse faster and the work became more hectic.

A very good means to outweigh the stress at work and sustain my energy is to go fishing. From the place where I live I can take the bicycle and go down to the river Dreisam and spend there a few hours spin fishing for trout. Being near the flowing river is always relaxing, calming, refreshing. Sitting on the bank and reading Richard Brautigan's "Trout Fishing in America" is one of the many things which keep me going.
