Diagonally across the intersection stands a typical holdout. The owner of the small white house with the hipped roof in front of the grey office building did not sell to the developer. He had inherited the house from his grandmother, lived in it and ran a Harley-Davidson workshop in the back. It is quite exceptional that he rejected all offers and eventually the new building had to be built around his property.
