Caption
Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge over the River Thames in central London, linking the boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Southwark. Construction began in 1886 and the bridge was opened on 30 June 1894. The bridge is an iconic London landmark and a Grade I listed structure.

In the opposite direction to Tower Bridge you can see the unusually shaped City Hall and The Shard - now the tallest building in Europe.

On the opposite side of the river from left to right, in the distance, you can see the dome of St Paul's Cathedral, the top of The Monument, Tower 42, The Gherkin and The Tower of London.
