In this panorama two groups of researches from the University of Auckland and Victoria University of Wellington using RasMol application closely coupled with Access Grid. With RasMol two or more researches located in two or more different universities can simultaneously see the same molecular structure, and both have control over rotation and visual characteristics. And because RasMol is running as an Access Grid shared application, the researchers can discuss what they are seeing.
