This small town, Cividale del Friuli, was founded by Giulio Cesare, almost in 53/50 B.C., called it "Forum Jiulii" and from this name the whole region got its name: Friuli. Romans went all over Europe and not only they made many constructions and installations such as aqueducts, drains, temples, and even spas, as they thought that cleaning the body was important: these are the remains of the so-called Roman Baths of our town .... but they are found in all the nations where there are Roman remains
