The Budweiser Clydesdales came to our Sunny Phoenix Valley for Super Bowl weekend. Light sprinkles started falling just as I took this panorama, I was even afraid I might get water on my lens. The Budweiser people were kind enough to let me venture beyond the tape so I could get a good clear shot. The showing was supposed to last for two hours in the parking lot of our local Fry's grocery store but was eventually called short on account of rain. Below normal temperatures, rain and solid overcast continued all the way thru until Sunday afternoon, the day of the big game. This weather is not normal, Phoenix averages around 300 sunny days year. After Super Bowl weekend everyone left for home and the sun returned with high temperatures near 80 degrees on the very following weekend. I seem to recall the same thing happened when we had the last Super Bowl in 2008.
