For us weather recording starts here: Wind speed peak and average miles per hour, compass direction, temperature hi/low, Wind Chill and heat Factor index; Barometric Pressure, Dew Point, Rainfall rate for today, monthly and total and Humidity.

The device predicts a 10 day forecast based on historical data collection, date and time stamps.

The device is wireless from the sensor to the indoor devices. It also displays indoor current values for humidity and temperature. The display is battery/ ac/dc powered.

Convenient features include an always on backlit color display; a USB connection for recording real time data to an always on computer.

The station includes a wireless network BRIDGE connected to the internet for transmitting data to a server where it send the data to our personal internet 'My Backyard Weather' page. Suitable for smartphone with internet access.
