South Australia has a magnificent desert climate, and is a state full of stunning scenery, a "land of endless sunshine". Bushfires in this climate are a frequently occurring terror, such as the Sampson Flat Bushfire which ravaged large parts of the Adelaide Hills in January 2015 and destroyed 27 homes.
My panorama of the aftermath of this bushfire shows an area which was covered in lush beautiful trees and shrubs as far as the eye can see, overlooking the Adelaide Plains. Two months later, the trees are starting to regenerate and the beauty of this area will soon be restored.
