From pine cones that fit in Kelley's hand grow trees as massive as the one standing behind her. It takes only one tiny seed to begin a lifespan of millenia.

With bark thicker than she is tall, and a mass some 67,000 times her own weight, these ancient giant sequoia trees can't help but impress anyone who visit them.

As Kelley would say: "It's a BIG one!"
