Culture's focal point is university. This it is true for today but it was even more true in the middle age. The 360photo presents the entrance court to the University of Pavia, a small city not far from Milan famous for its University, one of the oldest of the western world. An educational istitution was already documented in 9th century but the actual University was officially founded in 1361 by the Emperor of the Roman Empire Charles IV. This University is still today a center of culture with over 20,000 students in various faculties.
