This scene is obviously a picture of a landscape in winter time.

For lots of people snow or frozen fog on trees is very normal in winter time but on the coast of the isle of Goeree Overflakkee, where nature parc "De Kleistee" is situated, the relatively "warm" sea water around the isle is preventing the cooling down that is necessary to get this beautiful white view.

It happens at most a few times each year and it seldom last longer then a few days, and then the landscape looks grey and very dull again until spring time.

Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
"De Kleistee" is within 3 km of distance from my home so the travel to the location wasn't a big challenge.
At the time I took the shots lots of people with children and dogs where there at the same time.
Remember that this kind of views is seldom seen by us so when it happens lots of people who otherwise never visit this small nature parc then do.
So the real challenge was to get them out of the scene because I wanted to get a pure nature image.
Normally I like to have people in my images, but not in this particular image
