The "20 Years" event celebrates the 20th anniversary of the WWP.
Theme Essay: 20 Years
The essay conveys the team’s idea of the event. It is usually published together with the Theme announcement and offers a starting point for the contributing photographers.
As a 20th anniversary celebration, there is a year-long event with 4 slots per contributor. There is neither a timeframe nor a theme for this event, but we require you to either
- re-shoot an old WWP panorama. It doesn't matter whether you or someone else published it on the WWP, just pick one. In any case, please link to the old panorama. The goal is to show the changes since the last shot.
- contribute one of your best panoramas from the past 20 years, not yet published on the WWP. In this case, please provide a story with a short explanation, why you think it's one of your best. We always love good stories and even more good panoramas!
