Caption
This experimental work was made by placing a tripod-mounted camera in the middle of an intersection of two lonely, rural roads.

A vehicle was then moved and parked four times directly behind the camera and photos were taken of the road illuminated.

The scene is not intended to be lit evenly, but to have the light focused down each road leading to and from their crossing point.

It is often the case that our paths are well-lit where they offer choice, but become darker to our vision as they recede from our sight, whether in plain view or only in the mind's eye.
Equipment
Nikon D70 with Nikkor 10.5mm lens on tripod with Nodal Ninja rig; Photoshop, Pano2VR; Honda CR-V for illumination.
