The Baptistry Window is a huge canvas of colour, which symbolises the Glory of God flooding into the world; it was designed by John Piper, crafted by Patrick Reyntiens and comprises 200 panels of stunning, radiance which overlook the font. Ralph Beyer fashioned the font from a Bethlehem boulder.

By contrast the West Screen is an enormous wall of colourless glass engraved with saints and angels by John Hutton. It floods the building with light from the south by day (Coventry Cathedral is possibly unique in it orientation) and gives onlookers a wonderland view of the lighted interior during darkness.
