Desde el puente se ve mejor la vida

Este puente "virtual" es parte del complejo arquitectónico de la Plaza Rufino Tamayo, concebida y diseñada por el Arq. Teodoro González de León en homenaje al internacionalmente reconocido pintor oaxaqueño Rufino Tamayo. Esta plaza se ubica en el sur de la Ciudad de México.
La plaza se compone de cuatro elementos: Un talud de tierra recubierto de vegetación que actúa como fondo; una pérgola que establece un sinuoso paseo de sol y sombra; una serie de jardineras-banca cuadradas y una fuente monumental conformada por siete marcos independientes que crean una ilusión óptica de perspectiva. El punto más lejano de observación de esta perspectiva se aprecia desde el puente que está sobre el eje de esta composición lineal.

Life looks better from the bridge.

This "virtual" bridge is part of architectonic complex of the Plaza Rufino Tamayo, developed and designed by the Architect Teodoro González de León in homage to the international acknowledged oaxacan painter Rufino Tamayo. This plaza is located in the south of México City.
The plaza is comprised by four elements: A talus covered in vegetation that acts as a backdrop; a pergola that creates an interplay of sun and shadows under its winding course; series of squared plant-benches and a monumental reflecting a fountain which has seven independent frames that create an perspective optical illusion. The far off point of observation in this perspective is looked from the bridge above the axis of this lineal composition.
