You are at the end of the road when you reach Bosta Beach, on the Island of Great Bernera, Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides. A few cars are parked here and your eye is drawn to the stunning beach. Look at the back of the beach, there is a Museum of sorts. In the dunes is a recreation of how people lived here in the Iron Age, 800BC-100BC. This is a replica of the real house located nearby. It was discovered in 1992, and has now been reburied in the sand for protection.

A traditional Museum is a place where "stuff" is kept, and we fight to stop the decay and degeneration.

This is a Museum where people create the past, or at least try to. They fight to learn what we have forgotten, ancient ways of life and yesterday's technology...

.. Read-on about how this images was taken using a KITE

Equipment

4 GoPro HERO3+ cameras, with a wooden camera cradle/rig to hold the cameras in exactly the correct position, is triggered by 4 custom designed camera synchronizers.

Suspended below a Dan Leigh Cruiser kite with 8ft/2.5m span.
This technique produces two hemispheres, and a different workflow in PTGui from the classic ground pano technique. This results in extra effort BUT impossible angles!
