Caption
One of a sequence of photographs taken during a pleasant afternoon stroll along the bay shore of Sandy Hook. Later as I was processing this panorama I remembered the WWP Project on "Limits" and thought this image would be a good candidate.

The sign posted on this decaying military building has its own message about Limits!

Ultimately the limits shown here are of the durability of human efforts to build close to the water, not to mention the effects rising sea levels could have, eroding Sandy Hook, the eastern seaboard of the United States and coastal areas around the world! It's time to re-read Limits To Growth: The 30 Year Update by Meadows, Randers and Meadows.
