During the entire shooting window for the Atmosphere panoramas, the local sky/atmosphere was cloudy, gray and challenging for ideas.

On the last day I finally thought up a scene that might equal the dreary weather/atmosphere we were having. The somber skies matched the mood and feeling of a local cemetery near my home.

The gray skies were a challenge photographically, so I shot this pano in RAW mode and then processed one exposure and pano for the sky and one for the rest of the scene. I then combined the two exposures/panos with the FM DRI PS plugin for the final image.

In memory of Uncle Johnny & cousin Jay Hejl laid to rest in this cemetery’s mausoleum.
