I am a Carnivore

When I need meat I go to the finest butcher in the area.

Sure - I travel past many butchers as I drive the 25km from Kinsale to Cork.

But it is worth it.

Sure - I have to find somewhere to park the car or catch the 'Park 'n Ride' bus.

But it is worth it

Sure - there are loads of Butchers in 'The English Market' around the corner

But it is worth it

What have they got?

26 varieties of sausage - a celebration in themselves. Kassler - Smoked Pork. Their own Bacon and even Wildlife (Pheasant, Venison and Rabbit) when in season. Even gourmet snacks for your cat or dog!

Simon and Patrick O'Flynn and their team are the best. They should be - their family have been in the business since their father, John, started it in about 1944.

In the picture - from left to right are: Simon O'Flynn, Tom Collins, Jackie Falvey and Patrick O'Flynn - Yes, they are brothers
Have a look at some additional panoramas we took here.

Behind the scene : where are all the customers?
Where are all the customers? - I hear you ask.

Many fine ladies were scared off by the fact I was taking photographs. They would come in - see the equipment (or was it me) and run for it.

Only one stayed.
