I'm not sure if this shot is my best of 2015 (motion due to the wind between exposures for the HDR led to a good bit of blurring,) but it is one of my favorites. I hadn't done very many interactive panoramas in recent years and tried to get back into shooting more spherical panoramas this year. My wife and I spent many hours snowshoeing at nearby Gilbert Lake State Park, as well as doing several hikes there in the warmer months, so this panorama seems representative of that aspect of our year.

This image was taken at the Lake of the Twin Fawns, a smaller and much less visited lake in the park. (My submission for the 1st quarter of 2015 Weather event shows the larger Gilbert Lake after one of our snowshoe outings.) Even when the beach is crowded and the campgrounds are full, not a lot of people venture out on the longer trails to this part of the park, making it an ideal destination for a local hike.
