In September, 2007, Hurricane Ike roared up the Ohio River Valley. The 75 MPH winds completely removed the one-hundred-year-old copper bell tower roof of a convent located on top of the bluff just north of the Ohio River. As the copper roof and copper cladding on the cross were replaced in May of 2009 I had the opportunity to get a shot from an interesting vantage point above the bell tower. I put two panoramas together to show both the view and the set-up used to repair the roof and to get the view shot.
