I've taken few panoramas this year and I wasn't sure about submitting another roof top panorama, but for me it was my favourite from the year, so here it is.
Permission to go onto this particular Southbank roof is rare and was probably only possible as I was hired to shoot another building across the river, managed by the same company. I was given a strict 10 minute time limit on the roof, complete with am obligatory security guard and tracking device. I took close to 300 shots and fortunately a few with an 8mm fisheye for this, which wasn't part of the assignment. The tall building next to this 'The Eureka Tower' is presently the tallest in Melbourne, completed in 2006, the previous tallest building 'The Rialto' can be seen on the other side of the river (left). Federation Square, Flinders Street Station are opposite with the M.C.G.(Melbourne Cricket Ground), Rod Laver Tennis Arena etc on the right.
