Milan, Italy, July the fifth 2007. Fiat presents the 500, the car that takes Italians, at least the elderly ones. back to the past. Back to the first time of…500. The 500, a car “born” in ’50s, who helped Italy to restart and recover after the Second World War. It was built in several models and dressings and it has been, since its first times on the market and till its last model in ’70s, a family car, a working car (especially in its “station wagon” model, can you imagine how big was it?). The same for other categories, till when it became almost the only possibility to buy a car for young people. So it became a myth. Fiat tries it again. It launchs a new model, calling it 500 too, hoping to renew the success of the “old” one. But, as you may see, the colour of the various models is red only…or not?

Italiano

Milano, 5 luglio 2007.
