A new experiment for a new panorama of town

This panorama was shot from the highest point of the city... the top of the "Monument Interallié" tower. See the "making of" ;-) and this other QTVR panorama in fullscreen format.
Thus, from this viewpoint and by using the tower as a tripod, it's obviously impossible to turn around an axis which passes by the lens entrance pupil, however essential to a good positioning of the DSLR camera and to a perfect stitch (download "The Grid" tutorial).
Thanks to the new Stitcher Unlimited 5.5.2 version and its fabulous fisheye images stitch tool and the "smart" blender rendering ! ;-)

For more information about the "Monument Interallié de Cointe", see also the article on the French Wikipedia.

Taken with a Nikon D70s digital camera equipped with a 10.5 mm (equiv. 135) f/2.8G ED AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor. Only 8 images stitched with Realviz Stitcher Unlimited 5.5.2 software.
