The Energy Gods Might Be Crazy . . .

Energy:
     Unleashed;
     Withheld;
     Wasted;

Controlled by forces poorly understood . . .
     Nature;
     Economics;
     Politics;

but essential to life, liberty and the pursuit of techno-toys.

There has to be a better way.

Oh, yeah . . . there is. Check out

Photo Illustration: My original intent was to shoot a homemade bio-diesel setup; unfortunately this fell through. My back up plan was the oil refineries in Commerce City (Adams County, Colorado.) However, I was harassed by a security guard (despite being on a public street) and forced to shoot at some distance. The result was a dull and uninteresting panorama. I decided to ‘spice it up a bit’ by compositing it with the giant dancing figures, (shoot outside Denver's Center for the Performing Arts,) and adding some simple Photoshop trickery . . . .
