Caption
Cyprus was elevated from the seabed by a series of tectonic episodes, which originated with the subduction of the African Plate beneath the Eurasian Plate

My pano opens in an area that has very distinctive, smooth white limestone formations, these were once an ancient beach and now form part of the Pyla hillside. It's an area that I walk in regularly.

Just above the white limestone area is a wide trail which forms part of the 'E4 European Walking Trail'. The E4 starts, I believe, on the west coast of Spain and travels through France, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, and Cyprus - to name just a few countries.
Equipment
Taken with a Canon EOS 400D, digital camera, with a Zenitar-M 16mm Fisheye f/2.8 lens mounted on a Panosaurus Pano head. Stitched using HugIn and rendered with Cubic Convertor
