Along the sides of the wooden beams in the workshop of the blacksmiths, dozens of horseshoes are stocked. Each shoe (most often paired) is dedicated to fit on a specific horse or a specific ox. The shoes were forged and hanged on nails, ready to be used when a client went for service.
Sadly, no horse come nowadays in to be shoed. Blacksmithing ended when the blacksmith died a few years ago, after seventy years of exercise...
