The amazing beauty of nature is witnessed in the Red Rocks of Valley of Fire outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. This shot is made from a helicopter tour that starts in Las Vegas and goes into the Grand Canyon and finishes with a tour of the Las Vegas Strip.

It is red sandstone that makes Red Rock so different. It's part of the same geologic formation found in Zion National Park and throughout many parts of the southwestern United States and southern Nevada.
