Families, that combination of Mum, Dad and the kids……seems that it will last forever. Then the nest empties, once more you can use the phone without first doing a property search, that the fridge is as full at night as it was in the morning. Bliss?
You walk around familiar places, trying to remember how you ever had time to both work and change nappies. But never was the feeling of emptiness so intense. Sitting at the playground and gazing at the equipment brings back good times and bad.
Memories intensify, you look inward and down, faces of your children are never lost but come flooding back from long ago………
