Inchiquin Island is in Lough Corrib, County Galway, the largest body of water in the Republic of Ireland.

This panorama was taken at twilight on the causeway (about 1km long) that provides access to the island from the village of Greenfields for the handful of families who live there.

The sun has set behind the island and the car that has just passed is headed off the island towards Greenfields.

Lough Corrib and Inchiquin in particular are famous for their fly fishing.

It was a very "atmospheric" moment. The location is also relevant to the theme of this event because climate change has brought rising water levels in the lake that have left the residents of Inchiquin stranded when the causeway has flooded.

The image is a bit grainy / noisy, This is because it was shot hand held - without a tripod using with the camera sensor on it most sensitive setting - ASA 1600.
