The Muese has been a border river for ages, between the Netherlands and Belgium. In fact here are 4 borders photographed. First you see the border of the 19the century marked by a special border pole, placed by Belgium.

The present border is in the middle of the river. I am standing on the border of the river when making the photo, and its taken at the border of day and night, in the twilight zone.
