This panorama was taken just nine hours before a lunar eclipse so the Moon was full. The mist was coming in but overall the air was clear and it was very bright. I had already gone to bed but my wife suggested that I get up and go and take a panorama by moonlight. This sounded like a good plan to me and I am happy with the way it turned out, especially the dark sky with the stars visible.
