Under the city of New York in the tunnel of the East Side Access Project. This will be a new connection between Long Island City and Grand Central Station, slated to be completed in about 8 years. I had the opportunity to shoot in the tunnel while on the job with Vibco Vibrators, the company supplying the industrial vibrators that will be used to compact the concrete liner. Although I am not exactly sure of this location, as it is far underground, I know that it was about two and a half miles from the entrance in Long Island City so this must put us under Manhattan or maybe the East River.
