Meshchera is a wonderful land. Light pine forests and impassable bogs, wide lakes and narrow rivers - this uninhabited area always attracted hikers especially as because its heart lies just about 100 miles away from Moscow.

This QTVR was done in Western Meshchera on November 2008 holidays during a short 20 mile trip, which was devoted to Russian local geocaching - see hotspots for details. Great thanks to BRODILO & BurKhan for their contribution to the event! :)
