After record snowfall in Green Bay, Wiconsin, shovelers were paid $8/hour to shovel out Lambeau Field (home of the Green Bay Packers football team). They have been called out 5 times this December. Shovelers had worked all day the previous day and into the night. I showed up at 9 a.m. on Christmas Eve (12-24) to shovel and took these photos. The Green Bay Packers have about 350 plastic shovels and puts out a call to the public a few times each year. The Packers play the winless Detroit Lions on Sunday 12-28-2008.
