A Peaceful Easy Feeling hiking through the Kaibab National Forest near Hull Cabin (built c1880, on national Historic Register). I stopped and took this pano where an Elk game trail crossed a small meadow while heading towards Hull Cabin tank, a popular watering hole for wildlife. Fresh Elk hoof-prints can be seen in dirt trail.

While the crazy popular (and populous) Grand Canyon National Park is only about a mile to the North, this area still retains its solitude as it requires a 20 mile drive on dirt fire roads to reach it.

I was at the cabin providing amateur radio communication safety support (it is a fairly remote area with no cell coverage) for the Stagecoach 100, a 100 mile footrace from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon that follows the old Stagecoach Route and decided to take a short hike.
