Dating back to 1338, Les Cordeliers Cloister in Saint Emillion France has ranged from a monastery for Franciscan monks, to a celebrated sparkling wine cellar. Built of local limestone, the arches and walkways exude a sense of calm and peace, despite the tumultuous history. To sample some sparkling wine on a sunny summer afternoon - ah, such joy!
