In following the theme for this WWP Event, Color, I decide to go for some local color. So I headed “Down the Shore” to one of the more colorful Boardwalks. Even in September when the crowds thin, and swimsuits and shorts are replaced with sweat suits and jackets.

While shooting this panorama, this gentleman and his dog took up residence on the bench and they watched me as I shot this panorama. As they examined me as I did a slow dance circling my tripod as I took the 18 exposures required on each orbit, I realized how ridiculous I must appear to them and that I too had become one of the “colorful” characters that make up the Jersey Shore Scene that night.

Hardware; Nikon 950 with Nikon Wide Converter WC-E63, Kaidan KiWi 900/950 Pan Head, Tiltall Tripod. Software; Photoshop CS3 Photomerge for both stitching and editing.
