I went to attend a rally near Oyama Station and immediately realised that it was a great place for a panorama. I returned the next day and found the range of contrast far too much for the D200 so I bracketed exposures and juggled them in PhotoShop to get this HDR image. A feature of the area around the station is the long arcades stretching along and at right angles to the tracks. These represent an attempt by the local shopkeepers to attract customers despite the inroads made by major supermarket chains and discount outlets.
Equipment
Nikon D200 with 10.5mm full-frame fisheye, a combined tripod and unipod, and a Nodal Ninja panohead. PTgui to stitch.
