Water from Kahana Stream makes its way to the ocean.

Kahana Valley, on the windward side of Oahu, faces into the trade winds and is one of the wettest parts of the island. In the back of the valley, along the crest of the Ko'olau Mountains, Kahana has an average rainfall of 300 inches per year.

The U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey branch maintains a gaging station upstream from where this pano was made. You can see current and past stream flow data at this site: http://hi.water.usgs.gov/recent/kahana.html

Nikon D70 w 18-70 zoom, Bogen 3414 Pano Head, stitched with QTVRAS, and adjusted with Photoshop.
