One method of travel in New Mexico is on the Rail Runner Express. It is the state’s first commuter rail line and began operation in 2006. Service is presently provided to four central counties along a 96.5-mile corridor from Santa Fe to Belen. This panorama shows the Rail Runner having just left the depot and passing through the Railyard District in downtown Santa Fe.
