Green for ever and at any season, emerald color is the path’s dominant hue; it runs down and away for a distance of about 400 meters and smells wonderful, the flavors of boxwood ( buxus sempervirens ): it really looks like a summer atmosphere.

Older than a century, it’s still providing shade for walkers in summertime and beautiful shows during the winter days. It’s a miracle that the path is still here today, untouched since many years although some farmers were sometimes livened up with intentions of destroying it.

I first discovered the place about twelve years ago, when I had to produce some pictures taken in the Pays d’Urfé’s area.

I didn’t find it by myself: Mister Demure, a very passionate man and the Mayor of Juré, a small village with 250 inhabitants located along the Aix river, showed me the green way as soon as I first came into his village. The path was not easy to find again, so I had to get Mister Demure's help once more to come back and shoot the panorama.
