Norhtwest Florida has many parks, reserves, forests, and undeveloped lands to explore. However, getting through the forest is difficult. There are briars which are thorny vines. There are snakes and alligators. There is poison ivy. This panorama shows an event hosted by a nature preserve center and members of the local Florida Trail Association. One provides the land and facility, the other leads hikes and helps maintain trails. We enjoy visits to the forest and keep most of it as is, natural.

The people in the panorama are discussing the trail at the entrance to a guided hike at an Open House sponsored by the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center.
