A solar eclipse is an extraordinary event. If there is one near you, go and see it. It's quite strange to feel the temperature drop during the half hour before the moon covers the sun fully. Then suddenly, within a second, the light goes out. Now you can look at the sun and see a full circle with a black hole in it, just like the ring of fire where a tiger has to jump through in the circus.
This event lasted 4 minutes and you can hear every second of it.
If you want to do a shoot like this prepaire yourself well. It takes an hour at least to prepare your camera. Practice shooting of the panorama a few times in advance. You may need the extra photos. (as I did)
