About the Photographer
I’m making panoramas since 2005. My biggest project in panoramics is a multimedia CD-ROM entitled “Virtual tour at the University”. I've made this multimedia CD as an enclosure for my dissertation. You can download it from my website, from http://vrphoto.hu/ .
Currently I am working as HP-UX system administrator, so making panoramics is just a hobby for me.
My accessories:
I’ve bought an used Canon EOS 300D, and also bought a Manfrotto 055CLB tripod with an 303SPH spherical head. My lens is a Tokina 12-24mm F4. It is a rectilinear lens, with around 100 degrees field-of-view. So I can take a full shpere in 24 pictures. (+ zenith and nadir, usually hand-held) As I’ve photographed moving scenes too, I realized that it would be good to own a fisheye, as my camera is very slow even for LDR shoots, and 24 pictures take me at least five minutes.
