About the Photographer
As a Florida native and Colorado transplant, Shawn has held a love of photography from an early age growing up in the Miami Florida area. Tha passion propelled him to the University of Florida where he earned a photojournalism degree. Love of the West pulled him from his native land of beaches and everglades to Colorado's rugged mountains, plains and valleys where he indulges his passion of capturing nature at its best. Shawn has been creating Panography since 2001 and is enthralled with the possibilities this photography forum offers for viewers and photographers alike. To help those unable to climb to the top of a mountain or unable to ford a stream to witness the majesty of a waterfall see the beauty in this world is a life long goal. Panography holds the promise of opening doors to those who are so often shut out of the natural world.
