Scott Rowed Photography

Scott Rowed is a full-time professional photographer living in the Canadian Rockies. His work has been published in numerous magazines including National Geographic Magazine, Powder, Ski, Conde Naste Traveler, Outside and Equinox. Among his commercial clients are CMH Heli Skiing, Intrawest Resorts, Great Canadian Railtours, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, Fairmont Hotels, Brewster, Shell Oil, Travel Alberta and Tourism British Columbia.

Recently VR photography is becoming more important to his commercial shooting as clients recognize the role it can play in their marketing.

His late father, Harry Rowed, was a well-known Canadian photographer whose work as a photojournalist and commercial photographer took him to many parts of the planet. Currently Scott, along with his partners in Puerto Vallarta, is working on an exhibition of Harry's Mexico collection taken during several trips in the 1950's.

One of Scott's hobbies is dinosaur paleontology. With his daughters Kylie (16) and Genevieve (11) he makes frequent trips to remote regions of the Alberta Badlands prospecting for interesting dinosaurs.
