About the Photographer

I like to reveal the world using technology to make things visible that our senses can't perceive on their own. I use macro photography, stereo photography (3d) with a pair of old Canon A80 cameras, long baseline stereo to show mountains and clouds in 3D, time exposures to show motion, and timelapse to speed up clouds and plants moving. I build jigs and electronic devices to do all this.
I have been an amateur photographer since 1968, and for work, I ran a graphic arts process camera using 16X20" film to do color separations for many years. When "desktop publishing" came in 1990, I became a Mac operator, and I used Photoshop 2.0 to do things that beat million dollar Scitex systems.
